Independent oversight of AED’s activities is provided by the AED Board of Directors in accordance with its articles of incorporation, established in 1961.
Day-to-day management of AED is the responsibility of the President and other officers of the organization.

The AED Code of Ethics states that all AED employees should maintain fairness, ethics, and personal integrity in all matters and avoid any activity which is either illegal or unethical.

Any suspected incident of theft, fraud, or other unacceptable financial behavior should be reported immediately. Such action is vital to protecting AED and the people it serves. Callers will speak to an independent third party, and confidentiality is assured.
