Gail A. Galuppo

Gail A. Galuppo is executive vice president & chief marketing officer at Western Union, where she is responsible for directing the company’s global branding, marketing strategy, sales management, consumer research, database analytics, and product development.

Prior to joining Western Union in 2007, she was the chief marketing and customer officer at Standard Chartered Bank, where she oversaw branding and advertising, marketing, product development and customer analytic activities for the consumer bank across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. She also served the bank as the Global Head of Credit Cards and led several cross country initiatives including strategy development, global product development, and marketing and risk analytics.

Gail previously led Sears, Roebuck and Company's Marketing, Brand, and Category Strategy groups.  In this position she defined the Kenmore, Craftsman, and Diehard brand strategies, developing promotional marketing plans, and working with Sears’ merchants in leveraging consumer insights and analytics to develop strategic plans for product categories and lines.

She has extensive experience in the credit industry, including GE Consumer Finance, where she held the general management position for their largest private label credit card portfolio and Discover Card Financial Services, where she held general management positions.

Gail serves as an international adoption counselor in her community.
