Influenza Vaccination Campaign

On September 23, AED launched a compelling, six and half-minute video documentary featuring parents who have lost a child as a result of the flu and encouraging parents to get their children vaccinated against influenza. The film was created by AED for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in collaboration with Families Fighting Flu, Inc. The film was directed by Emmy award-winning Mustapha Khan, creator of “House on Fire,” and Tommy Walker, award-winning co-director of “God Grew Tired of Us: The Story of Lost Boys of Sudan.”

The documentary is part of a new, ground-breaking, viral marketing effort for CDC’s 2008-2009 Influenza Vaccination Campaign and was launched via the Internet video-sharing site YouTube.
