Academy for Educational Development

AED is providing support to the Angola Energy Sector with the objective of increasing access to electricity for un-served populations in Angola, leading to economic growth and increasing the opportunities for people to have their voices heard in the energy decision-making processes that affect their lives.  As citizens take advantage of these opportunities it will strengthen civil society and teach democratic habits, and build the capacity of the national electricity utilities (EDEL & ENE) to constructively engage with their customers and future customers and to improve service delivery. AED is working to build the capacity of EDEL regarding best practices in peri-urban electrification programs, and in utility management.
