Academy for Educational Development

The goal of IRHU is to reduce the number of abortions and unintended pregnancies and incidence of sexually transmitted infections by improved provision of and access to quality RH/FP services through the public and private sectors. The projects goals are 1) Improve service provider skills and behavior related to RH/FP; 2) Improve client knowledge, attitudes, and use of appropriate RH/FP services and products; 3) Increase availability, accessibility, and affordability of contraceptives; and 4) Increase capacity and commitment of the public and private sectors to support policies and systems for improved RH. The first steps are to assess the reproductive health situation and existing projects.
