AED is providing technical and design assistance to the USAID/Peru supported Strengthened Environmental Management (STEM) project. The focus of the project is to build Peruvian capacity for Environmental Management Systems through its counterpart agency partners, CONAM ( Presidént's Council on the Environment) and INRENA (National Institute for Natural Resources). AED is contributing to the development of a communications plan and specific communications materials to support the Commission for the Sustainable Development of Paracas Bay as it implements an interagency task force to focus on multiple contamination sources and increasing tourist activity in the area.
