AED staff is providing evaluation assistance to all 57 states and territories, 19 urban school districts and approximately 40 of the national health and education organizations funded by CDC to deliver school-based HIV prevention programs.  The project aims to help HIV prevention staff and Coordinated School Health Program (CSHP) staff gather evaluation data that will help them make decisions about future program priorities and improve program effectiveness. The project will also help some states and organizations design programs to prevent obesity, cancer and heart disease through physical activity and nutrition.  AED staff will also be providing evaluation assistance for tobacco and asthma prevention programs.
