The Federal Resource Center strives to improve the educational outcomes for all children, especially those with disabilities. To achieve this, FRC works with regional centers in supporting State Directors of Special Education in activities such as: developing new websites, numerous meetings and conferences linking people and sharing ideas, helping to implement communities of practice to help get more services to states, instituting trainings, and other activities vital to improving educational outcomes.  The FRC also assists the Office of Special Education Programs in communicating and implementing their initiatives and in meeting their objectives.
