Tending the needs of young people gives them roots, a healthy and safe start in life. Tending the dreams of young people gives them wings, a vision that carries them into the future. AED helps communities provide youth with the health and safety resources that will nurture them today and with the education and support that will guide them tomorrow.
This project focuses on developing creative educational and school-to-work strategies, particularly for out-of-school youth, which in many developing countries is a population larger than that of youth in the schools.
Founded in 2001, the National Service-Learning Partnership is an advocacy network through which more than 8,000 members educate, organize, and mobilize for strategic leadership that promotes and strengthens the practice of service learning.
