The breadth of AED’s work is only matched by the diversity of our staff.
Together‚ we speak 112 languages and hail from 141 different countries. The vast majority—90 percent—of our in–country employees are from that country or region. We think—actually‚ we know—that our rich diversity provides us with the knowledge‚ perspective‚ and cultural understanding we need to effectively create positive change.
AED maintains program offices in nearly 65 countries in Africa‚ Asia‚ Eurasia‚ Latin America‚ the Middle East and North Africa‚ and North America. We have a regional support office for east and central Africa in Nairobi‚ Kenya‚ and one for southern Africa in Pretoria‚ South Africa.
